Thai Yoga Massage Workshop
Saturday April 15th
1:00 – 3:30pm
In this unique healing system of Thai Yoga Massage, also called Nuad Boran, the practitioner guides the client through a series of yoga postures, while palming and thumbing along the body’s energy (‘Sen’) lines and pressure points. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.
Unlike more popular forms of massage that use oil or lotion and are done on an elevated massage table, Thai massage is usually done on a padded mat or futon on the floor.
You will use your hands, knees, legs, and feet to move your partner into a series of yoga-like stretches and apply muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure to provide your partner with an invigorating and unforgettable afternoon.
You are fully clothed, no oil or lotion is applied.
What you’ll need:
*Blankets/comforters *Pillows *Clean hands and feet
*An open heart and a sense of humor!
This workshop is limited to 10 couples so please register today!

Yoga and Energy Healing Workshop
Saturday April 1st 6 – 7:30pm
Join us for an intimate evening with Sarah, starting with a light guided meditation, followed by a gentle and healing practice using props to fully support the body.
Essential oils, massage, and energy work will create a supreme, one-of-a-kind experience.
This specialized class is open to all yoga levels – new to experienced.
**Class is limited to 12 students to ensure each student receives the attention necessary to achieve a Spa-Yoga experience.
Sarah began her practice in a hot yoga studio as a way to get a good work out. She quickly got hooked because it began healing her body, and fulfilling her mind and soul as well. Within a year of practicing, and a little reluctantly, the owner suggested that she go for her 200-hour teacher training. While speaking in front of a group was (and still is!) her BIGGEST fear, she courageously began teaching. Within a year she was teaching yoga full-time. Sarah just moved from Wilmington, NC. She instantly felt loved and supported by the Get Hot Yoga community. This is what she offers in her classes- a sense of community. She believes each person is already whole and perfect as they are- her hope for each practice is to help each student remember this Truth. Sarah’s style of yoga is dynamic and full of inquiry- the intention is always different but with a common theme- to incorporate awareness and integration of body, mind, and soul throughout the practice so that it can be practiced off the mat as well. Whether it is through a challenging pose, laughter, therapeutic oils, breath work, or self-discovery, her objection is to create a space in which the students feel strong and grounded yet inspired and uplifted.Posted on:

Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice that is also known as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness, it is intended to induce full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness. “Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of complete relaxation, holistically addressing our physiological, neurological, and subconscious needs.”
By quieting the overactive conscious mind, you move into a meditative state, gradually finding a state of “ultimate harmony,” in which the brain waves slow down and a subtle euphoria emerges.
“Yoga Nidra uniquely unwinds the nervous system, which is the foundation of the body’s well-being.”
Restorative yoga is something completely different from other types of yoga classes since props are used to support your body instead of your muscles.
It’s about slowing down and opening the body through passive stretching.
During these long holds, your muscles relax deeply. Restorative classes are very mellow, making them a good complement to more active practices and an excellent antidote to stress.
